I rushed home on this cold & windy night as I walked through the door the game had already started so I quickly changed into my pajamas then placed leftovers in the microwave as I was doing all this my furbaby knocked up against the door and he came in. So I got a chance to eye the score and the Carolina Hurricanes had two goals and we had none. Once I was able to finally get comfortable on my bed the Caps score one goal thanks to Wilson in the second period.
Of course the players fought but Connor McMichael ripped the helmet off of a Hurricanes player and had to go to the box and it’s only second period. Oh no! Ovie was sent to the box but after spending two minutes he is released.
Now my furbaby Boo Boo has made himself comfortable. This game is a home game and the Hurricanes are ahead by five. Craig Laughlin & Joe Beninati are doing the play by play. I can listen to Joe Beninati all day long his voice is sexy but that’s just my opinion and maybe I’m just weird.
Third period Hurricanes are so ahead of the Caps that they playing just to be playing then a fight breaks out between Tom Wilson(43) and Hurricanes player Smith(7), Wilson throws Smith to the ice and rips Smith helmet off. They both go to the box while there teammates play on. Eller heads to the box because of a hit he did. Well, Hurricanes beat Caps and the Caps are off until Sunday.
