As I sit on my front porch I'm always reminded of how blessed I am to live in DC and the neighborhood I grew up in. I sit in my peace and comfort surrounded by beauty and while it may not be everyone beauty it is mine. I think everyone should take a moment to just breathe and take in that moment and be in the moment. It is so easy to forget and not appreciate the little things in life but we need too.
I understand we live in a social media world where we can be social media rich but life poor so don't believe everything you see on social media because most of what you see is just a fantasy and nothing else. I myself will continue to keep this blog genuine even if it not glamorous.
