This morning I awoke and started with my routine of prayer, meditation and remembering what I'm grateful for and then I grabbed my beast and sat on my front porch. It's chilly but it also felt good to sit outside and clear the mind and people watch. I have a small table on my porch that I decorate and yes the flowers are fake but they are beautiful, one day I will get real ones but for now this is what I have. I did try to write while outside but the chill of the day prevented me so I'm doing my writing inside. I did light my scented candles to set the mood that I want to be in I go back to work tomorrow but it was nice to have a few days off to decompress and exhale because working in customer service is not easy and it doesn't matter what you do it's still challenging.
I do enjoy my job and I love that I can help people find ways to relieve the pain and stress of life but at the end of the day I'm always left wondering about people and their attitude. So when I come home I take my shoes off and light my candles and sit on the couch and take a few deep breaths. At my job we are doing a Secret Santa which is awesome and I already picked my person but that will be my secret for now but now I am thinking about what to get. I don't know who has picked me but I'll just let everybody know that I want either a table cloth, aromatherapy diffuser and or scented candles. Today I'll be back at writing trying to finish my short story so I can post it soon.
