Today I started with a pedicure but I was just enjoying the pampering. As I sat in the chair I started to think about what I was going to do for New Year as I dug deeper I realized not too many places I can go for little to nothing.
I have checked out Nelly’s and Im aware that's a gay bar but it cost nothing to go there but Im still searching.
I have been going to this nail salon for more than two years because they really know how to pamper their clients. Since Ive been coming on a regular Ive seen men come in and I believe if a man don't take care of their feet and nails then they are not date worthy. As I sat to wait for the nail tech because she was running late I started to think about my interaction with my ex husband which I found to be weird, it was like he was trying to impress me because he made sure I heard him talk about his cruise which I have doubts. Now hearing my bestie sister talk about her cruise has perked my interest so I started researching. I'm not going to let my fears take hold of me.
It's a rainy Tuesday and Im just waiting & taking cat naps.
I know that 2023 is coming to a close & I’ve decided that I would enter the new year living & leaving the past in the past. I see so many possibilities in the new year but I will not do a resolution I don't know if anyone does that anymore. I will spend my time trying to complete my bucket list and I have a list. I have learned that when booking a cruise you want to avoid the North Sea.
After an hour and a half I left and went to my back up nail tech, it’s just shit happens which I understand and of course he did his magic. I left with beautiful nails and feeling myself. My nails are ready for the new year. I came home and ready myself for tomorrow.
