Episode 43

Hey my beautiful dedicated subscribers so I know it’s been a moment since I’ve last made a post of any but it’s been a bit of busy season and so much has happened that I’m not sure if I will be able to get it all in but I will try.

For a breath of a moment I was unemployed suddenly when the owner of Cannabliss decided to close without notice leaving me along with my customers in shock and not knowing what will happen next. I realized later that the owner was only about the money and nothing more because he closed the business and skipped town and it took me and my co workers about two months to get unemployment. It was nuts how we had to fight to get what was owed to us I had come to the realization that the owner only cared about the money because he never cared about the community in which he operated his business. The owner never gave back to the community as a business should but he would always say how everyone was against him because he was black at some point I got tired of hearing those words.

Fast forward and I am rehired by the new owners who are so far awesome and they care about their employees and the energy is so much better. The work environment is peaceful and positive and these new owners are about giving back to the community which was something that the former owner was not.

Although it is not black owned but I really don’t care anymore I’m just thankful that the new owners gave us back our jobs. The former owner didn’t understand that you can’t have a business and not give back to the community in which you serve but these new owners do and they know that to be successful you have to help the community.

So my job had a grand reopening last month to introduce the community to the new owners and yes they are White and Asian but they are doing what the former owner wouldn’t do and I tell everyone that the business is minority owned but black managed I guess that’s what it’s called but again I don’t care I have a job that I’m able to have a comfortable life style.

Since reopening and getting rehired the new owners have remodeled the business which has bought a sense of pride to all of us.

I do enjoy where I work and I see great opportunities for me and my job in the future. So lately I have been working on getting new subscribers for this blog and I’ve been thinking about doing a giveaway where the winner wins a T-shirt but it’s just an idea for now.

Because of my job I’m able to really indulge in my interest which is writing and my goal is to turn my blog into my career and also make a living from it.

I’ve become a true “Swiftie Fan” of recent I’ve got all her music and have watched her concert on Disney a few times.
