This morning I awake feeling rejuvenated and ready for the day so I threw on some lounge clothes that really don’t match and I sat on my porch taking in the day. As I was sitting I once again played Tays Tortured Album I really like it because she has unleashed her emotions upon her Swifties. I truly believe we are all tortured souls and we just don’t know it or we know it but don’t know how to embrace it. I sat wearing sunglasses and a hat even though I was in shade but I felt it was necessary.
I watched traffic pass me and I wonder what they must think as they pass me by or even if they notice I’m even here. For me it’s another day off so I try to make the most of my days off. The one thing I’ve noticed about the street that I call home is how busy it has become, the car traffic has increased in numbers but it is a short cut to downtown.
I continued to sit outside throughout the day but later I will be attending Deanwood Deli Karaoke Night which is an amazing experience and the owner Ty has it every Wednesday in the evening and he also has a carry out that has very tasty food.
I have been in deep listening mode with the Taylor Swift Tortured Poets Album and yes I’ve turned it up so the neighbors could hear. My plant is still alive which is a surprise because usually plants die in my care but this Orchid is thriving. I place it on my table during the day and I bring it in at night. So now I want to get more plants to put alongside my porch I want it feel like I’m in a beautiful garden.
I spent a few days while I was off working in my yard trying my best to get my yard BBQ ready because I throw the most epic BBQ’s ever, my bbq are legendary. I still have more to do in my yard but that will not stop me from throwing a bbq. Although it’s a lot of work and money it’s so satisfying and now I see why my grandma loved being in the yard. I will say that my yard has made grown men cry and have complete meltdowns because my yard is very large. I’ve spent several thousand of dollars, paying different people to help me but they all spend twenty minutes & they let me know they can’t help me with my yard so now I just do the maintenance myself the best I can. My allergies does effect what I am able to do but I just do my best.
I know the local neighborhood watch are probably tired of hearing me play Taylor Swift. I call them that because they sit outside along the wall adjacent to the corner store all day until late in the night.
I try to take full advantage of the beautiful day by sitting outside as much as possible and most of the time I can. Another beautiful wonderful day.
