I have an Instagram page but I don’t have a lot of followers but it does good so I get a notice saying that I can get a blue check mark / verified for a monthly fee where before you had to have a certain amount of followers. Yes, I was tempted but decided not to because it just doesn’t seem authentic like it did before. I am just not that impressed to have a blue check mark anymore. I’m not sure why they have decided to charge a fee but I’ll keep my IG just the way it is but it does make you wonder how many people are paying a monthly fee just to get verified.
