This morning I check to see if there is a game & yes there is a game so now I wait with excitement. This game is an afternoon game so I’m glad about that no late games. The game is in New York at UBS Arena from what I read it’s a newly built arena.
Before the game starts I plan to cook an early dinner steak and potatoes. I am right now watching a movie Eternals on Disney as for my fur baby he is sleeping on the couch without a worry.
Well, as the movie was ending the game was just beginning I grabbed my blanket and wrapped myself up. I have yet to cook my early dinner. I will say Caps games are always fast. We have a player in Covid protocol now.
Well, a fight almost broke out but of course the referees stopped it & now TJ Oshie is out for the rest of the game. Now we are in the second period and it’s commercial time.
Tom Wilson made first goal in the first period & of course I had to tweet about it. So I make my way to the kitchen to start dinner. I finally finished dinner and I am able to eat & enjoy the rest of the game.
And we are in the third period and my caps are still ahead but I get nervous because if the Islanders score then it will tie the game. So my team Caps won.
Of course Joe Beninati and Craig Laughlin our play by play announcers were yet again awesome. I can listen to Joe all day.
