There is a big rally that will be taking place at the Capitol building on Saturday September 18th. The rally as I have read is an attempt to get the Justice Department to drop charges against those who were part of the Capitol Insurrection. Security has been heightened & a seven foot tall fence is now surrounding the Capitol. From what I read there could be an estimated seven hundred protesters. I would suggest those in the DMV who can, avoid downtown. I can only hope that this will be a peaceful protest.
