This morning I awoke and made my way to my porch to take my seat and watch traffic. I find it most enjoyable so I sit with my sun dress and socks on taking in the little breeze that has found its way to me. Then I made my way inside to watch Bridgerton the series is very entertaining but I know they had to be hot in those long dresses and garters and I know there was no air conditioning so those buildings must have been scorchers. My home being an older house doesn’t have central air conditioning but I do have a/c in every room and ceiling fans. I had to secure my jugs for a moment but now I have released them to be free falling.
I take my seat once again on the porch and it’s another beautiful day. I’m forever grateful to be able to sit here because I know many don’t have that privilege. I’m preparing for next month to fly to see my youngest daughter and I’m excited. I’m still searching for reasonable prices. I’m looking at either Delta or Alaska Airlines and yes I’m price matching to see who has the better deal. I see the wall huggers are back I’m amazed how they have such dedication to sitting all day in the heat I couldn’t do it I would have given up a long time ago.
Later this month it’s Memorial Day Weekend and every year before Memorial Day there is always a group of bikers that ride through Sheriff Road but I don’t know who they with or if they’re going to ride through this year. I will just have to wait and see when the day comes. As I look around I see my grass needs to be cut because of all the rain we had.
One of my planned buy items will be a lounge chair for the porch so I can stretch out. Next month is my birthday and I will enjoy my birthday month the way I want to.
