This movie was very good and I really loved the story line because we all have been judged by people. This young woman was judged because she lived in the marsh and her home wasn’t beautiful but it did give her shelter. Yes! She didn’t have the best upbringing and she was poor but she made the best of her situation.
The town people were not so welcoming of her and during this period of her life she was called names by the town people but she did find true love after learning the hard way that not everyone will love you. Later during the movie she is accused of murder and that is when she finds out who truly has her best interest.
It ends with her enjoying what is left of her life with her true love and the two grow older and are happy and content with each other and life. But at the very end the truth is revealed.
I was in tears by the end of the movie. I pray one day that I too will experience true love like she did and really have someone who will accept me for who I am and not judge. So, I recommend this movie.
