I first came upon his music because of TikTok but before I didn’t know anything about his music or him so I downloaded his music on Apple Music and have been rocking out to it ever since. I follow him on social media and what I love about him is he includes his family in all his social media posts. I think his daughter is becoming a rising star with her dance moves and clothing style.
I tend to love country music more then go go music which I know is not the norm in DC.
The music that is out today is not the same because now all they sing about is pussy, getting stoned, stripping, and killing but it’s nothing new but back in the day they censored all of it and of course now they just let it play. I of course have my ratchet music that I play at times but then I have the music that I really am into.
For some time I have been enjoying listening to Walker Hayes because it’s a little bit country & a little bit dance. My favorite song of his is Y’all Life. I hope that one day he will have a concert in DC so I can rock out to him in my cowboy boots and hat.
