Some years down yonder I lived in Dallas Georgia, it was a small community where everyone knew each other. At that time I was married with children who were young so I was a stay at home mom but I also had a part time job working at Burger Sauce
This day started normal with the usual banter from my co workers who were mostly Hispanic so I usually didn’t understand what they were saying anyway. As I ready myself for the day I noticed a lady standing by the counter asking to speak to a manager so my co worker decided she would try to assist but to no avail. The lady became infuriated and began to scream and shout.
A few minutes later a police officer walks in and sees the disgruntled customer and tries to assist and that’s when the woman turns around to look at the police officer and that’s when I knew shit was about to get crazy.
She tried to swing on the police officer and the two landed on the floor and that’s when she got ahold of the police officers gun and so they were tussling all the while my co workers and manager were standing around watching.
I seeing this kerfuffle in front of me decided that it was in my best interests to leave so I took a running leap through the drive-through window and scurried across the street to the bus stop bench. As I sat on the bench I watched as other police officers came in to assist, so about thirty minutes later I see them putting her in the squad car and I skedaddle my happy ass back to work. My manager comes from the office and ask me where I was during the mayhem I point across the street . My manager with a puzzled look says I didn’t see you walk past me and I said that’s because I didn’t and I pointed to the drive-through window and said I became Flo Jo. He preceded to ask me a question but decided against it.
Later that night as I was closing I look at the drive- through window amazed at myself that I was able to fit through the window.
