So over the weekend Mrs. Carter arrived with so much excitement and anticipation that DC lost their damn mind. I'd never seen DC act a fool like they did when Beyoncé buzzed in and took over. I will have to admit I even acted like a fool even though I couldn't afford the tickets. My job( Cannabliss Dispensary) even got into the excitement they did a beyhive bliss box filled with everything that would get you cuffed because she does talk about rolling up. From what I read, seen through social media and news it was worth every penny and she showed up & showed out.
Although Sunday show had a few misfortunes one being the weather because it rained so it was delayed two hours and then there was the chaos that ensued during the delay. I really think FedEx Field wasn't ready for the power that Beyoncé aka Mrs. Carter was bringing. I will say that if you never been to FedEx Field then you don't know about the walk to the stadium which is about five blocks which I'm estimating because I have done that walk and it's uphill which for me is a challenge. What I do know is that the Beyhive do not play about there Queen although I'm still trying to figure out how can I join the Beyhive so someone please let me know where I can sign up I'm so ready.
I do know that the show went on even though it didn't stop raining but there were concerns about the stage being slippery because of the rain and many fans were worried about her safety but that didn't stop her from giving her all. My co worker that had gone to Sunday show says it was worth it watching her perform in the rain. She did say she was sitting in the sky( fourth level and if you have ever been to FedEx Field then you know what I'm talking about because you're so close to the clouds, it feels like you can touch them ) and trying not to have a conversation with God. She did attend Saturday night concert even though she didn't have tickets she said she sat outside along with others who didn't have tickets but she said you could hear Beyoncé sing and she enjoyed it.
I was going to go and sit outside to listen to her sing but it was raining and it didn't stop so I just wasn't feeling like getting soaked I wish I had gone Saturday because I heard it was an experience sitting outside listening to her sing.
I did read about those fans that got soaked but said it was worth it and how most definitely didn't get home until the early morning hours. It was good that metro stayed opened later so fans could get home.
All in all DC welcomed Beyoncé and everyone enjoyed themselves so until the next Beyoncé concert it's a wrap and who knows maybe I'll attend the next concert but of course if I can afford it.
