I have noticed lately how there are so many animals that are emotional support animals and are licensed but I wonder what did they have to do to be considered licensed emotional support animals. I’ve seen alligators, pit bull dogs, birds, snakes and other animals that you would never think could be emotional support animals but are. It’s like people just say I don’t want to leave this animal at home so I’ll just get a paper that says they are my support animal so I can walk around and take on planes etc. I just feel that it has gotten out of hand and there needs to be tighter credentials to being a support animal. I understand that support animals are needed but not every animal & as I see it some people abuse that term just so they can take their animals wherever they want. But just like everything in this world you have people who will abuse the privilege.
