Reese Rena Album The Cure – EP
Well, Sunday I received a call from a good friend of mine R&B Soul Singer and DC native Reese Rena aka Reesa. She was shooting a music video in the Deanwood neighborhood for her upcoming album and song. She asked if I would be in it and of course I said yes I have no problem lending my talents to help a friend. I did let her know that I would be blogging about the experience so that my wonderful followers could read about it. I also got to sample the song and this will be another awesome hit for the DC native. I know she has been performing for awhile and she has a soulful voice.

When I arrived at the set I was excited and anxious because I have never been in a music video and I really didn’t want to screw it up for her but I could tell I was dealing with a pro. Reesa talked me through everything she wanted me to do and I had fun. I learned that shooting a music video is a all day event and everyone was very welcoming.
I was an extra in the video and the two cars in the video were classics and we turned a lot of heads on the streets of DC.
Reesa music has substance in it’s musical composition and lyrics. She will undeniably take the music industry. Her music remind me of Macy Gray.
