Well, DC now has an XFL (Xtreme Football League) Team called DC Defenders which is a Professional American Football Minor League. The season starts for them in February. They will play forty regular season games, two playoffs and one championship.
The eight teams are divided into two divisions
XFL North( DC Defenders, Seattle Sea Dragons, St. Louis Battlehawks, Vegas Vipers)
XFL South ( Arlington Renegades, Houston Roughnecks, Orlando Guardians, San Antonio Brahmas)
Game Day Sunday February 19,2023 at 8pm
The first game of the season is February 19,2023 at 8pm. They still have tickets available & you can become a season ticket holder. From what I’ve read you will be able to watch the games on ESPN, Espn2, FX & ABC.
