As I sit outside on my front porch I realized something I already knew but just never wanted to admit to myself and that is these businesses no matter how much you show your loyalty they still see you as replaceable. I’m not going to go into great detail or mention the company because I’m going to use this experience as a teaching moment for me. I will say this I disagreed with the company and they have showed what they think of me but with that said I have no ill will towards them but I just can’t work for a company that is so petty in their reaction. I saw a solution to the disagreement we were having but they saw my solution as being insubordinate so much so that I was removed from the schedule. But I handled myself professionally.
When I saw that I was removed from the schedule I didn’t yell, scream or curse anyone I just looked at my management and took a deep breath and smiled and walked away saying nothing more. During this time that I have off I have been planning my next move which is to start my own business. I will no longer work making others financially fit I will put all my time & energy in my own small business.
I will not quit because I know that will bring them much satisfaction . I remember this saying “You are totally replaceable at work “ which is more truer now than I could have ever imagined. As I wait for them to fire me I will work on having my own business up and running and creating revenue. I have already begun the necessary paperwork and filings so I can get my business license. I really see why so many start their small businesses . I will go into detail later about what my business is. So my journey has begun.
