So in the Deanwood neighborhood that I live in is a marijuana dispensary called Cannabliss. It is DC first black owned dispensary. Before the dispensary came to my neighborhood we had a family owned liquor store called Dave Brown and of course a corner store but nothing else. And since the dispensary opened we now have a carry out about to open and also new apartments so it’s been a great experience having it here. The owner did hire from the neighborhood which has created employment opportunities.

They have many ways that cannabis can be consumed so you don’t have to smoke if you don’t want too, you can take edibles, bath soak, creams, suppositories and tinctures.
The budtenders are very knowledgeable about cannabis.
